The Lulu dining chair is inspired from the classic bistro chair, and handcrafted in the sustainable material rattan. With its light sturdy frame and simple classic look, Lulu chair is a charming dining chair for every home. The chair is made from Indonesian rattan and it is handmade with great expertise. Due to the use of the strong material rattan, the chair has a very long lifetime, which contributes to its sustainability.

Rattan facts:
Rattan is the second fastest growing material for furniture production and it regenerates in 5 to 7 years.
Most (80 %) of the world’s rattan resources grow in Indonesia, close to Sika-Designs factories.
Rattan is easy and environmental friendly to work with. The Rattan stem only needs to be steamed for 10-15 min, before it can be formed.
Glue is not necessary in the production and Sika-Design only uses toxin free varnishes.
